Hi, we have an Outwell Montana 6p. I'm just wondering has anybody had any successful stories of pairing a Montana with a side extension or awning? I am contemplating whether the front extension for the Montana could possibly be used on the side?
Why do we want a side extension? We already have the front awning, and we are thinking ahead to those longer trips with all the kit kids need and the family pooch!

Many thanks in advance,

Matt

Use the Outwell Vermont side extension/awning. You need the flap of fabric to go over the top of the tent. Its also designed for the job.

You must need allot of space if the normal Awning is not enough!!

We have both the Awning and Extension for our Montana 6P and when they are both on the tent it is 10 meters long.

However there will be few times we use both so normally use just extension or just the awning.

I would say the same as Mr Cross use an Outwell Vermont side extension/awning though you might be limited on which campsites are wide enough.

awning for the granny annex and extension for the servants - so daughter and kids sleep in the 6p, missus in the awning and me - yes in the extension - hard life being the only bloke in the family - the stuff they need.

I've just altered my montana 6p front extension to make it a side one, a lot of work getting it right and sourcing materials but think it was worth it
