Gary
How quick are they at inflating the tubes?
It's surely quicker than the hand pump !!

iv got the outwell concorde L and hand pumping is about 10 minutes - the pumping gets harder towards the end as the air tubes get stiffer and the tent is fully erect.
i bought the electric pump and its much faster and easier but i need to hold the pump nozzle onto the tents air nipple because otherwise the force of air coming out the pump blows the air pipe out of the nipple.
the electric pump is about 4-5 mins and the tent is up.
the pegging guylines and putting up the camping eqpt takes just as long as any pole tent does.
it saves me about 15 minutes having the air tent. - notice in my signature iv kept all my pole tents!!!. - i simply cannot seem to get rid of them! - the air tent isnt that amazing.

oh just to add - if you do get inflateable tent, then inflateable sofa and chairs can use the same pump ( mine do ) and can be very comfy - mine are flocked so they are warm and nice to sit on if a bit bouncy if you dont sit still on them.
inflateable furniture folds /packs very small so makes up for the huge space the tent absorbs!

Its not so much how quicker it is with an electric pump but its just easier. My backs not great (better than it was since the operation) so the electric pump is great. We have a video of the pump working on the outwell Concorde M on our inflatable tents website. Just type into Google "12 volt inflatable tent pump" and you will find it.

agree with Cross Camping about it being easier - very easy!.
i wish someone would make an inflateable polycotton automatic self guying and self - pegging tent! now That really would be awesome!

zivadog, two oldies looking for small easy pitch tent and have looked at the flux. Wife a little concerned front section is very small. Could you advise if you have had issues. we would be looking for a couple of chairs and small table with a single burner hob and not much more.
Would use it for Friday to Sunday trips plus as an overnighter for our long summer treks with our monty 6p.
looking for a full height as both have glass backs
I too would say go for the Genesis,i find that once i'm in my flux i'm in no living room, wished i could have sat and watched others.I put up a tarp and sat under it but if you are going to do that you might as well pump up another beam at 90 seconds and have a sitting space inside
