Newbie member & un-seasoned camper here! We bought the above in the go-outdoors deal last year. Just wonder (as it has no open canopy included & we cannot find one now (due to Vango discontinuing all palena accessories) what people with the same tent are using for cooking under? Would I be better off investing in a tarp, windbreak or just go for windbreak and umbrella? Thanks!

There are so many options for you, but So many things to consider
Tent size of 6.6 by 3.7 metres , to add a canopy to the front could limit your choices of places to camp (8.65m long) this is without guy ropes.
Could you buy a gazebo ? "Coleman event shelter" seem to be very popular on lots of camp sites and you could use it at other times and they do different sizes also , along with sides , windows etc.
The windbreak and umbrella works for a while, depending on who's cooking and how heavy the rain is ,, but don't forget the "
Look at this thread , dk168 post , windbreak with top?

Coleman Evolva (might have more than one shhhh)
And now a VW T25 high top.

Cobb BBQ
Hi Multicolouredsocks, what did Vango suggest in the end? We have also bought a Palena and thinking of buying a Vango Sun Canopy for it just to cook under if it rains.

You may find the Vango Azure front canopy will fit. The tent width is the same and it zips onto the front and clips to the poles. It has a large door which can be rolled up when cooking and providing you don't put your stove too close to the fabric you should be o.k.
