Not sure on the leaking part,,,Might just be that the reviewers of the tent have somehow set up the side door wrong..
As for the draught....A lot of tents these days seem to have doors that don't zip all the way round..I have two like that....To keep the flap from blowing about I clip 2-3 Clingons along the length of the flap (Adds a bit of weight to the bottom edge) One or two clothes pegs(Plastic with metal spring) does the same job...
