I'm not defending another retailer here but maybe they base their postage costs on weight, so if you add the tent and footprint together maybe their system adds the weight up and it tips the postage charge over into the £25.50. If you buy them on their own then maybe the weights keep them in a lower postage bracket...Sometimes it may work in your favour...?
Just a thought and I may well be totally wrong.

To be honest when I am spending a fair bit of money, I like to call the retailer for my peace of mind, most are a friendly bunch and I have ended up with a discount, a freebie or free postage that I would still have to pay via the internet.
Another reason is check the item is actually in stock..a constant problem with internet buying.

good news big thumbs up to JR LEISURE got a phone call this morning saying there is a problem on bradburn website when you add extra items they are trying to sort it out
he said i might get a refund for the extra postage
still no refund but the bloke from jr leisure said there is defo a glitch on the system at bradburn camping website o well lesson learnt will not be buying off them again
I noticed there airbeam prices the other day seems to cheap for my liking and all tents only had 1 available ?????
