Hi

Just purchased a bargain vango flux 500 airbeam as a family weekend tent.

Does anyone have ideas for an inexpensive canopy for the front we can sit under and to stop rain running in when opening the sloping door?

We have the same issue, and we were going to buy the Vango family shelter to make a 'canopy' over the doorway..however, they seem to have discontinued them for this season, so we're looking at buying a tarp instead :)

Looked around and yes a tarp seems the way to go. I've just bought the Quechua Tarp which hopefully will work - it comes with two poles too which is handy.

Not exactly inexpensive but the front awning for the Infinity 400 fits the Flux 500 really nicely. You can probably pick up a 2011/12 model as an end of line for about £125. Adds maybe 6/7 square metres of living space to the Flux 500.
