We currently use a Nevada M with front awning which is great but I would really love and all in one tent with separate area for kitchen and then lounging, after spending hours and hours looking I still can't decide on which one fits the bill. Would love a canvas type but they are quite expensive and then there's the weight to consider.

Any ideas gratefully accepted.

If its similar in size to the Nevada and porch then the Outwell Glendale 5 would be spot on.

The Vango Midas 800 looks like a good, basic, easy-to-pitch tent, at a reasonable price (£189.99)which would give you lots of space and still leaves some of your budget to get the carpet and footprint groundsheet.

No porch, though.

I have looked at the Glendale and this sounds bad, but for two of us and all of the glamping gear I'm not sure if we might want something slightly bigger!

Yep Cotton Canvas is wonderful, had ours five years now, would never choose any other Canvas type.

Cost was not an issue as we got a new bargain back in 2008, although the pack size is huge for what is not the largest of Tents, and after the first year we added a a Trailer to our kit, as the RoofBox could no longer cope.

No regrets though, we spend a fortnight at a time camping.

Well I've had a good look at the Outwell Vermont LP, looks good fits the bill but will need to see it in person.

Just need to find somewhere that might have them on display!

You will find it hard to find one on display - we ended up looking at someone's on a campsite we were pitched on!
