The Sibleys do look good...a higher grade of canvas....shame they don't seem to do a zig of the emperor though. Edit ...they do do a zig one
We're a family 5 (kids 5,3 and 9months) are we better off with the 5m first or emperor....or even the 6m bell...i'd be putting it up by myself.

Hi xtrouble..dont make the mistake of so many others and get a 4mtr bell...we have a 5 and theres much more room to walk around..there is only the 2 of us too..so many have gone on to get the 5...hope your listening...
------------- Camping Tip #26: In an emergency, a drawstring from a parka hood can be used to strangle a snoring tent friend...or husband!!
Another vote for a 5m Karma canvas. Had to send my first 1 back due to an issue but the replacement was here within a few days and everything is fine now. They have good customer service and the tent is the same as my brothers belltent.co.uk version, but with an added flyscreen and wooden guy runners, just cheaper!

Hi,
Yes just back on here today. Seems the consensus is the 5m. I can't ignore all this advice, so I think that's the (revised) plan.
I was going to take the tent to Glastonbury in the summer , but I was dubious with the 4m due to the pitch size needed, I guess it's out of the question with a 5m !

Yes, sorry about that, I had 1 of the last one's and then had to have the canvas changed due to a stain/mark. From what people say they're all pretty much the same. My brothers bell tent from another place is pretty much exact as mine (Karma) apart from the canvas is a slightly different colour.

Funilly enough I saw this for the 1st time last night while I was looking for a side canopy for ours. To me it looks exactly the same as the Karma one, even looks like it has the wooden sliders. Its even slightly cheaper. Never used the company myself but if they had what I was looking for yesterday I would have given them a go. Give them a call if your worried you can usually get a good idea about a company once you talk to them. Geoff

I have just bought the ultimate pro from bell tent uk. I dont think i will go back to the standard bell tent again. Much thicker canvas and flooring. Will last longer but heavier to put up and lift and more expensive.
But very happy with my purchase. I find the guy lines hard to tighten though. Anyone got any tips?
------------- 2posh2pitch is a small family run business in Brancaster Staithe, North Norfolk.
We hire out luxury Soulpad bell tents, glamping style.
We spent ages looking around at bells, pyramids etc. and then all the different companies.
In the end we went with Soulpad as they are quite local to us and I've been to their showroom so I know what I'm getting. Went for the 5000-Hybrid-G so that we can upgrade to a woodburner if we need it in future.
Soulpad themselves are out of stock but I ordered through Cotswolds who also sell Soulpad tents and they are quoting 5-8 days for collection from store. Fingers crossed! :)

P.S. We bought a half-moon coir mat and awning from karma as we found them to be the cheapest and they are here already even though we are still waiting for the tent! :D

That looks good, but a bit close to deadline day to put it up for a practice, before taking it to Glastonbury.
