We bought a Mojave 5 off ebay it had only been used once and once erected you could tell.
We went to Whitby two weeks ago and for around 20 hours we had constant heavy rain, the only day of the easter break we chose to go, typical.
When taking the tent down there was a few little puddles of water at the back, nothing major and it was wiped up with a few pieces of kitchen roll but will i need to have the tent waterproofed on the seams or is this just due to the amount of rainfall, i have camped for years and the rain was the worst ive camped in haha.

Hi sunners...the best test I would do is put it up dry...hose it down..leave it for hours then check inside it for puddles or droplets on floor...if u feel a bit unsure you could still give it a good waterproofingso it will ve ok on your next camp
Cheers guys,
I thought it was condensation but it was just a little worry and wanted to see if this was an issue anyone else had found, we're away in the Peak District in two weeks so I'll try again!
Thanks
Sunners

We have the same tent and the same issue. It wasn't a lot of water and we put it down to condensation as there was three of us, including wet coats & clothes and 2 wet German Shepherds on a weekend it rained non stop for 18 hours.
We have bought the porch for it now so I am hoping we can prevent this by keeping wet items in there and not the tent.

I quite fancied the porch I think it's a bit too big for just two of us, I have looked for an alternative but yet to come across something in my price range (cheap) haha hope it works though to ventilate your small crowd x
