Hi, been out of the camping game for a few years, but wanting to get back out in to the fields, but cant find a tent we like ( we are also considering a tralier tent ) we a couple with five kids aged from 13 years to 6 months and a large dog so looking for a large tent, got to be standing hight as I have back problem. Any tips or idead please?

I recommend you visit a Yeomans tent display if you can. That will give you an idea of size and layout you want....

Hi

What tents have you looked at so far ? Its a big family you've got there and you cant really go off manufacturers berth sizes. It's usuall to add 2 to their figures just to get folks into the bedtoom areas comfortably.

Hi, don't know if its any good to you but I have a Vango Diablo 900XP which I'm looking to get rid of soon. We are planning one last family outing with it next month but it will be surplus to requirements after that. Bought it about 6 years ago when the kids were 'getting to that age' of needing separate bedrooms (1 girl, 1 boy if you know what i mean lol). Well they are grown up and the wife and I have got a smaller tent for the two of us so this is no longer needed.

It has a footprint groundsheet to go with it and, at the moment, it has one small tear in the inner groundsheet of one of the bedrooms which I will be getting sorted. Not looking for an exorbidant amount for it - let me know if you are interested
