Took our new tent out at the week end and we found there is a very small hole in the Sig where the bed room pod attaches. This let water wick up to the bedroom catchment. Any ideas how to patch this or should we take it back and get a replacement. Apart from this the tent is great.

Hi Belinda1967,
if this was a fault with the tent i would speak to the retailer & see what can be done. Its can also be quite a quick fix to either use Tenacious Tape put this on the underneath of the groundsheet & inside where you have the hole. You could also use duct tape as we used this to piece together our tarp ground sheet & as held fast for a cpl of years or more & is still fine.
All depends how you feel if you want a quick fix or feel that the retailer should do something as within your rights it being a new tent & should be in perfect condition.
Maybe also consider as we don't know exactly where the hole is ...if its the strengthened area that attached bedroom pod to bottom of tent it may need to be done back at the manufacturers to make sure it doesn't happen again.
I hope you get this problem sorted so you can enjoy further camping trips.
Hi. Yeah, it's on the underside of the ground sheet where the bedroom attaches. It's a double skin area. I've used the tape in the past but never on the underside of the ground sheet. I think we'll take it back and ask what can be done. As I said the rest of the tent is 100% . I Don't what to exchange it and get one with more faults.

I'd make the retailer aware of the problem and see what they offer to do for you. I wouldn't be happy to put up with a faulty product if it was under warranty.
