Although I was greedy and went for the Croyde 8. Got a 2013 version for £360, in budget if you're not in a rush and can wait for a sale. The 6 is basically the same though - just one less section. Same built in porch/cooking area.

Cheers Dave, will avoid linking to Outdoor Megastore in future.

Hi Gear Zenobie 6, offer on at Go Outdoors I think. Had mine 5 years now and love it. Its a tunnel tent. with bedrooms either end. This years colour is light green, nice.£200 mark, but as Ive said look at offers
Just had an email would you believe, about the Zenobie 6 tent from GO, £199, tent or £270 for tent, carpet and footprint. The reviews give it 5 out of 5.

Sunncamp Invader 600 is superb value...or as others have said the Kampa Croyde 6 is one of the best value family tents but is at the top of your price range as is the Vango Meadow 600. Do you need more than two bedrooms as the Vango Skye v 600 has three across the back and again just about in budget.

I'm pleased with my Gelert Ottawa 6, but its only a big 3 man really.
Go to a tent display and see what you really like.
If you really want to sleep 6 people then look for 9-12 man tents.
