Just recently purchased this tent with porch etc can't find any reviews on it yet, I know it's 2014 stock but would love to hear from anyone whose got one and been camping in it :-)

Wow a Frontier 8 with a front porch thats going to be a big tent .
I was at go last week had a look at the Frontiers you should have no problem with space they also seem to be nicely made .

just come back from our first go with it. Loved it and the space it gave us. Bloody heavy to put up but then that's the first steel poled tunnel ive done. Overall, I was delighted with it. Ill try and post pics when I work out how!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah pics would be good stuCPFC.

We had a go putting it up in the park yesterday found back to front worked best. We ran out of time to put the porch up, but I'm a bit concerned about the gap as I realise it's not got a sewn in groundsheet, some we have had in the past have had a really big gap and it's been like a wind tunnel round your ankles. Wanting to use as the cooking area/sitting area. Did you buy the porch.

Not using ours till August :(

yeah we have the porch, it has the same flaps at the bottom as the main tent so you don't get the draft, it does fit quite well and the porch does have a groundsheet with it just not sewn in like the spec on the sheets seemed to suggest

Any more tips, tricks or suggestions for this tent and camping with it? Is the carpet worth the money?

I've recently purchased the tent myself ready for camping at the end of August.
