Hi joy family, rfair, oldwolf, chazzer and any one else who owns an Eden
I already knew I could get the tent and pegs, canopy poles and pump back into its bag but today decided to challenge myself to also get the footprint back into its own bag cleaned and dried and also put this into the bag with everything else
So this is how I fold my Eden
Make sure all the doors are open including the bedrooms
Unscrew the non return valve out off the airbeams starting at the back and work your way forward. This chases the air what inside the tent out through the front and side doors
Then take your shoes off and step onto the tent and with your hand start at the opposite end of each airbeam to the valve and just brush your hand across the beam towards the open end this chase any air left in the beams
Then bring the rear of the tent to the middle
Then the front to the middle
Place the roller bag at the middle of the tent and at the end of the open valves this gives you something to aim at
We took this opportunity to clean the groundsheet
Keep folding rear to the middle then front to the middle until it looks to be about 4 inches smaller than the bag
Then start to roll the tent towards the bag taking your time to let any remaining air to escape
Then pull the now rolled up tent to the middle of the footprint I only do this so it won't roll onto the wet or muddy grass
Place the bag next to the tent so your sure it will fit
Place the bag on top of the tent and pull over a bit like a hat
Roll the whole thing over
Now start pushing the tent into the bag I use my knees to get it into the bottom corners of the bag
And it's in with room for everything else
Tent and peg bag
Tent,peg bag and canopy poles
Tent, peg bag, canopy poles and pump sat on top of the pegs
And ( drum roll please )
Tent, pegs, poles, pump and clean and dry footprint
Just fastening the bag
And done rounds of applause greatly received
One word of advice just take your time
Good luck fellow Edeners
Don't forget your pics
Ps
Sorry about the long post
