We've recently taken our new (to us) HG Voyager 10 on it's first outing and had it fitted to a "universal" canopy/porch affair. It served it's purpose for the few days, but we are now looking at more suitable option.

Hi Gear didn't seem to produce a specific porch for the Voyager 10, but looking at the specification of the Kalahari 10 porch, it looks like it would fit, and reach over the dome to reduce rain run off.

Has anyone tried this before, and does it work? Or are there any better options for a Voyager 10 porch.

As a follow up, we purchased a Kalahari porch to go with the Voyager 10, and it worked adequately for our recent 10 day trip. The different shapes of the two tents obviously matter, and we did not get a flush fit on the uprights, but it covered the door, and only left a small gap that kept the worst of the weather off us.

The straps that go over the top of the tent would not reach the floor, which is to be expected given the extra height of the voyager, but we attached them to crossover poles on the opposite door without any problems. A review with photos has been posted for further reference.
