Used this site for along time for camping info. Only just joined because ive just bought a relum paradiso. All the pictures and talk of canvas tents on here is to blame. Its a lovely blue and green tent has its awning too. Hoping to try it out very soon and was just looking for any information really. Dont know much about relum at all. Thanks all.

Hoping some clever person will come along. Been trying to make the poles and canvas look like the photo i have. Just glad i wasnt on a campsite with people laughing. Think i was stuck inside trying to find away out for ten mins and the tent wasnt even stood up. If i ever get the tent standing i ll post you a picture xx
Hi aderyn, never had a Paradiso but have owned quite a few Relums ,be assured that they are great tents...or were in there time..very good quality canvas and soooo made to last,if you cannot get it to look like the pic maybe cos the canvas has shrunk in which case erect it and water till sodden pull tight on pegging points and allow to dry, should all come back to a good looking tent :)

Once you have worked out how the frame assembles, colour code the pole ends with different coloured tape so you know what fits where. You can buy packs of plastic tape in assorted colours.
Thanks for the replies and info. Will post some photos when i get the tent up. Its the first canvas tent ive had for along time, cant wait to try it out.
