Hi All, our 12 year old Vango Vista 8 man has bit the dust. We went looking for a good match as we like the vis-a-vis style tunnel. We looked at the Vango Hampton 800 which is as close as damn it in size to the vista and we were completely dismayed as to the quality. In my opinion Vango have went way down hill. Or, is the Hampton just a cheap tent made overseas in a sweat shop? Since we haven't bought a tent for 12 years... Please tell me all tents are not poor quality these days! Whats your take on it?

Hi Galaxysong, I have not owned a Vango to help myself, but there is an active thread on the camping under canvas section of this site (currently on the second page started by Blueshirted) which may help you as to the current quality. I'd add a shortcut but I'm not sure how to do this!

We bought a Vango Astoria 800 in February and used it for the first time a few weeks ago. Quality from top to bottom. No complaints from us.
