Hello!
I need to buy a new tent (don't want second hand) prize max. 400£, tunnel 6 berth, sewn-in groundsheet, bedroom and living separated, living big.
I saw 2 that I liked, Outwell Montana 6 and Skandika Milano 6, both have a very similar layout and sizes, just exact for my needs. What I liked best about these 2 is the lateral closed porch, super handy for shoes and wet stuff. The Outwell is very heavy and more expensive, and I fear that steel poles rust. The Skandika would be perfect but I saw very negative reviews about that brand.
Please help me!

Personally I would steer clear of the Skandika as reviews for this make are usually quite negative.
Outwell are a well respected brand so I would go for the very popular Montana over the Milano.

I wouldn't touch the skandika with a rusty tent pole, speaking of which, the poles in the montanna are galvanised so they wont rust.

The reviews for the Skandika are usualy negative for the brand in general, but for the Milano 6 users reviews are very good. On the other side, I read in this website several complains about bad quality of Montana poles and Outwell customers service. I am still thinking about it.

Out of the 2 you mention my personal choice would be Outwell - be careful thought on which series the Montana is from as their are two I believe the De Luxe and the premium version main differences HH, weight and size.

Depends on how fixed on a brand you are really.

Agree with others, Definitely avoid Skandika... poor to say the least. Outwell Montana's on the other hand are well respected :)
