I am currently looking for a 4 berth pyramid tent. Looking around for second hand ones online and I am not finding an awful lot - this is a popular design that has been around for a long time, whose tents are worth looking for?
I don't want anything special really - SIG bedroom, loose groundsheet in living space, not too big as there are only two of us and it will mostly be used on shorter trips.
Do I just wait until another Pyramide 4 comes up for sensible money? They seem to pop up pretty often.

I have looked at the Eldorado and I may go that way, but budget is tight so a second hand tent would leave me room for an awning etc - just not sure which brands to search beyond the obvious cabanon.

Looks good. Part of the reason I want a loose groundsheet is so we can use it without the inner if we wanted to - bit more space etc. I would like an awning though.

The Eldorado has a loose inner groundsheet - dont know if you can see from the photos, but we didn't have the inner up at the weekend as it was too hot!
We have an additional tarp on the ground that covers the entire tent. We use a DD 3x3m tarp as an awning. We also have the Obelink tarp that we use with our Palamos
I'm liking the look of these pyramids - how easy are they to put up single handed (aided and abetted by willing 8yo child). And enough room for 2 plus border collie?
Look on ebay, there are some on the site, a nice Cabanon Pyramide VI Canvas with a starting price of £150, and lots of vids on youtube of how to put them up.
Roz....
