Hi, one new prospective camper here! Thought I'd come to a decision after trawling through reviews and adverts, to go with a Cabanon. Really like the sound of the Andorra, but wondered if I may only be able to erect an Elzas. Anyhow, plumped for what was advertised with a Cabanon Elzas photo and described as not identical but like this. Travelled 4 hr round trip to bring home what turns out to be a Relum Canaria 5k. Initially totally disappointed, I have immediately advertised it for resale on this site, but am wondering if anyone can shed any light on this particular model? In particular could a newbee older camper handle it, or is it going to be too big for a one or two persons and a dog? As the tent is in excellent condition, and I do believe it a genuine mistake on behalf of the seller and myself, I am wondering if it would be wiser to hold onto. It just isn't the one I set my heart on and know nothing about this one.

Have sold on the relum now, but would still appreciate advice on how easy it is to erect and dismantle and pack up either a Cabanon Elzas or Andorra?
We have had a little Freedom Sunseeker for three years, only used it one weekend, but was then blighted with ill health. Then our car was written off, and can no longer tow it. So desperately want to try a tent this year before making our minds up whether to give up the caravan and/or camping all together. We are in our fifties, not superfit, but well enough, and much prefer a tranquil week in a field than any hotel, with our beloved pooch.
So, Elzas or Andorra, or any other advice please ?

We've got a Relum 4k. Haven't used it for a while but it is a good solid tent. If I were you I would have kept the 5k.

The Relum went to a good home where it will be well used and appreciated by a very delighted prospective camper. And now we are excitedly awaiting delivery of a used Cabanon Pacific, which will not feel as daunting to our limited camping skills. So two sets of new happy campers. Thank you to all who write reviews on this site. They are such a good insight to the practicalities and impracticalities of camping. We will be able to join in properly soon.
