We use a quechua 4.2 family pop up for weekends but also rely on a tarp to sit/ cook under - although it is a bit of a squeeze if I'm honest, although a lot depends on the weather.
A lot depends on how much comfort your after.
Although, if I had loads of spare cash I would go for a small/mid size (4+ man) inflatable tent for (supposedly) ease and speed of putting up/ down.

Outwell Nevada M is a good choice for weekends the Vango Icarus can be a bit of a pole breaker.
