Hi,
I'm looking for some guidance for someone who understands all things 'tent'! I've just bought a 'pre-loved' tent on eBay which was sold as a Cleveland 6. I've yet to collect it.
It comes without footprint or carpet, so I've ordered them on line (they seem as rare as hen's teeth) but the more I look at the images of the tent I've bought, the less convinced I am that it's a Cleveland 6.
The badge says Outwell, the bag suggests it's an Outwell Cleveland that will accommodate six, but it looks nothing like the Cleveland 6 images you see online. It looks like a 3-hoop tunnel. All the Cleveland 6 images online are of a 4-hoop tunnel.
Were the early Cleveland 6s 3-hoops, and if so, does one footprint fit all?
------------- Regards,
Shiv

If it is the 1 from ebay that shows the tent & 2 photos of the a blue bag then:-
Looking at the blue bag with the tent diagram it looks nothing like the layout for the Outwell Cleveland I'v just looked at on the review pages here.
The bedrooms are all at 1 end where the diagram on the blue bag shows 2 at 1 end & then another at the opposite end.
Confused . If its not that 1 then can't help any further unless you have photos.
Unfortunately if its a 3 pole tent you have bought the "OLD" Cleveland 6 which is a completely different tent so its very doubtful if a carpet and footprint of a "NEW" Cleveland will fit

We brought a Cleveland 6p (from the 2013 range if I remeber rightly) ours is in photos 1-5 of the page mjdb linked to it has 4 poles so i guess yours may not be the same if it has 3. We managed to find a footprint ok but the carpets are harder to find without spending silly money, 2 halfords picnic blankets do the job for us.
Yes Maddie, it is the recently completed listing on eBay. I've been told by another source that whilst the shape of the Cleveland above the groundsheet and the position of the bedrooms and doors has evolved over time, the shape of the groundsheet hasn't changed. Time will tell.
The carpet will probs be an issue - I feel the dressmaking scissors may need to make an appearance. #betterthanthatkirstyallsop
