We're looking for a new tent to replace our Cabanon Pyramide 6. I love the quality and simplicity of our pyramid with sun canopy but the bedroom is is feeling a bit small with us and our 15 year old daughter, the living space is too small in bad weather and I'd much rather have a sewn in groundsheet.
So the Kampa Croyde 6 Classic ticks all our boxes - big bedroom so a bit more separation from the daughter, plenty of living space if the weather turns, sewn in groundsheet with a good canopy. The trouble is I just don't love it

it's bigger than I'd like and seems a bit too 'window-y' after the pyramid.
I MUCH prefer the Outwell Hilo Reef with the additional canopy it seems a really flexible tent, I LOVE the colour and that it's a bit more compact but doesn't really give us the bedroom space we're after and it's a lot of money to spend on a less than perfect tent.
Anyone want to talk some sense into me

I'm keen to hear thoughts from you wise lot!

Remember the Hilo reef is discontinued and if you like the colour when its new it will fade badly in a short time to a pale yellow

it will gently age with each use to a well loved shade reflecting years of camping fun ownership and fond memories that tents of age do!

No it will fade badly in a short time to a pale yellow and if you dont use the extension as much as the tent that will end up a different shade
