It is advisable to get a groundsheet that is slightly smaller than the footprint of the tent to minimise water ingress.
Therefore, there should be a small gap between the canvas and the inner bedroom for the bedroom to be pegged down.
Or leave the bedroom pod unpegged and rely on the furniture to keep it in place.
