My family is growing up fast and having 2 boys and a girl our great Vango Samara 600 is starting to not be suitable for sleeping arrangements, but the rest of the space is great. I thought my criteria was not too bad but suddenly all the tents have disappeared. I had been looking at the 2013 Maritsa 700 and the Astoria 800 (with side extension) but they have all virtually vanished. Any ideas....
My Criteria
3 or 4 good size bed pods
some steel poles would be good but not vital.
Built in or extension enclosure (not open to the elements)to separate kitchen from living.
40kg total weight
£500 - £600 budget inc footprint and carpet (before anyone mentions saving up more to get more life out of my tent, I have saved and I can not afford £2000 for something European).

I guess you will get plenty of advice on the best tent to suit, sadly I've not really looked lately to see what's what,
What I would say is use your budge t to the Max !
ie as for the footprint just buy a cheap tarp for now or possibly use the one from existing tent if you have one?
Carpet again same senario or use picnic blankets for starters?
Ie Make do for now?
It will relase more cash towards the tent !
Sell your existing tent releasing more cash?

Are any of the kids big enough yet to have their own pup tent? That would solve one of your problems anyway.
