HI Campers;

I am in need of your assistance pleasex

I have a Vango Vista 600DLX in brilliant condition except three of th epoles are missing!! I have searched Vango themselves as well as any other site I could think of and it's as if it never existed!!

I found poles v.close to fitting but would have needed hack sawing as well as costing £25.00 a pack!

If anybody out there has the tent or its poles at a reasonable price I would be very grateful.

Having to cut a pole section to fit is pretty standard I'm afraid, it's very easy though so don't worry, it's not going to be an inferior bodge job. £25 per pole is a bit steep though, have you asked Vango to quote you for three new poles?

Have you looked on "tentspares.co.uk" as they custom make poles as well as supplying individual sections. Depending on the size, diameter and quality they could easily cost £25 per pole

Emma - dead simples.

Take a pole section that is in good condition, or even better the whole bag of poles, to your nearest branch of GoOutdoors. Leave it with them and they will repair all the broken poles using stock from what they sell.

They'll charge you for the poles (most likely they'll have to cut them to size) and that's all.

It's a service they provide - I've used it and was really satisfied. New poles all ready to go, shock corded the lot.
