Hi, on my travels looking at roof bar foot packs, I spotted this on Halfords website:
We had an Easycamp (same company that owns Outwell) tent very similar to this which I sold last year.
Our version was a great little tent, used for overnight stops of 1-2 nights en route to our main site.
This higher spec version (SIG, 210cm head height, 3000 HH, wind stabiliser system)is on sale and a darn good price I think, if this had been available I'd still have it now!
So, if you want a small but standing height tent with a little living space - and a mesh door at the front - this is a bargain
I really liked the Easycamp (poor cousin of Outwell's Arizona) but wanted a SIG - this would have been perfect.
And only £110.
I now have Halford's own Osaki 3, which is nice, but not as nice as this. Darn. No, I don't need another tent. I don't need another tent. I don't need another tent..
Funnily enough I was in halfords at the weekend looking at these tents and was really impressed with the value for oney. More specifically they have a 6 man version for £210 full price, very similiar to the vango avington in shape and only 19kg if I remember correctly. They don't have it on their site though, will definately be one to watch if it goes on sale.
I looked at this tent before eventually buying the Outwell Calgary 300 (basically same tent).
Cracking tent, it was the two tone colours that put me off, more specifically the light grey at the top and front, just thought it would let in too much light in the mornings.
BTW I'm not anti-colourful tents, I have a Liberty Rock
