We are a family of 5 (2Ad, 3Kids) and one dog, we have at the minute a 10 man frame tent.... a cheap one from argos... But saying that it is doing us proud. It survived the storms of Cornwall Last year (2004) and has survived Wales (Snowdon) this year. We can fit our old trailer tent trailer in there so its quite large, a tiny bit smaller than the Mayon Vario 6 (I think thats the name)
We are looking for somthing thats smaller but easy to put up... (just for weekends) also it has to be easy to get in and out of for me.
We went to Winfields in Haslingdon yesterday (sun) and looked at so many that its hard to choose from.
The Gelert 5+2 looks gr8, but not enough room (even if we took the 2 bit out) to put in a picnic table in.
The Skydome 6 looked gr8 as well.. just would like a few views on it.
Any reviews or even different tent names would be interesting.
Thanks
Odette

Have you looked at the Vango Diablo 600 or 900? They're big tents but are also faily easy to erect. We've got a 600 & we get it up in about 45 minutes.
sure you will receive loads of adivce on here and loads of reccommendations. however best to visist a few camp shops and look at displays, even beter when its sunny
We absolutely love our Wynnster Mercury 9 and would recommend it to anyone that listens! There are four of us - 2 adults and 2 sprogs. It's got a lovely big living area and seperate pods for bedrooms - 2 that sleep 2 people in each and one that sleeps 5 with a curtain to seperate it if you want to. It has a full size ground sheet and each bedroom has its own sheet too to make it even more waterproof. really looking forward to getting out in it again soon.

Have a look at the Gelert Satellite 6 I had one for 2 years loads of space but had to sell it as it was to big for just my wife and me after my young had flown the nest, we now have a Coleman Bi-Space 500, excellent for us two and our two yorkies, quick and easy to put up
