Just wanted to post this information in case there's anyone in the same situation that we were in. We were sold a Voyager Elite 6 tent by Go outdoors. It was a panic buy having arrived at our site and ripped our Outwell Vermont half way through putting it up. The nearest place to buy a tent in the back of beyond in West Wales was Go Outdoors Swansea. They didn't have the porch at that store, however, we were told that we could still purchase it from our local store or online on arrival home. This was not the case as they are out of stock everywhere and are selling on certain auction sites for silly money. We have just returned from another holiday having used our Vango Lamond porch/canopy,(previously purchased for an Icarus 600),on it and it fits a treat....even better than on the Icarus. We had a look around on the campsite at the ones with the proper porches, however, the Lamond fits much better as it has the flaps at the bottom and no gaps. the proper Elite 6 porches sit at least 8 inches from the ground. Our Elite is green but the Lomond is blue, however, this really didn't bother us as it was far more functional than the proper porch would be....in fact it looked rather unique! The manner in which we have consequently been treated (an unsatisfactory email from customer services, and ignored by the CEO after my initial contact with him) over this issue of not being able to supply the goods gives me satisfaction in spreading the news that the Lomond works for us in this instance better than the porch that is manufactured ( but unavailable) from Go Outdoors for the Elite. If anyone is interested, I have photographic evidence!

They don't list any porches for the voyager elite 6, although it's the same tent as the voyager, just changed the colour!
I don't understand why they don't make similar numbers of accessories as they do tents, we got a voyager in 2012 (was £94) in the end of season sale, and until October 2013 we were unable to get a footprint or carpet, did manage to find then and paid something like £30 for the pair.

They did list them in their in-store leaflet (which is now in our recycling box to be made into toilet paper)and on-line but then went out of stock and are apparently waiting for more ....they are also on Hi Gear website (£150), then you are sent to buy through Go Outdoors as it is exclusive to them; you end up going round in circles! Really not bothered now anyway. we're very happy with our mis-matched tent & porch.

We have had similar customer service issues with Go Outdoors, and ironically over a Voyager 6 Porch. The attitude from them was nothing short of abysmal. I try and avoid them where i can.

We hated the original porch that that went with the Voyager 6; it just did not fit correctly and left too many gaps.

In frustration,I emailed the CEO of Go Outdoors but got passed to the guy who deals with complaints. Pretty much got the same reply as we did from the basic complaints line. Basically the messages end with " if we can be of any help please let us know " Yeah....Right !! I've tried to get a satisfactory answer to my gripes, but it just isn't going to happen. The only thing they are good at is avoidance. We will not be giving them any future business,we will however, be shopping at our local Atwools in future. In fact that is where we bought the Vango Lomond porch earlier in the year, which ,as I've already stated, fit's a treat on the Elite 6.
