Anyone advise me how to proceed. Looking at two tents. Kampa filey 6 and vango evogue 600. Keener on the Filey 6 but do I choose the pole version or chance the inflatable version on either tent. I have looked up stuff on internet on inflatables and there are some scary stories out there! Any information would be appreciated.

That's the problem with scary stories
They tend to stick around
I've had 3 vango inflatables upto yet and have never had any problems and would never return to a poled tent can't comment on the kampa tents but all mainstream tents will and do have their faults
IMHO I'd go for the vango just down to the fact it's got the seperate inflation points and can have a zip on extension but if your thinking of buying it this year you'll need to buy everything now as there's a new colour for next year so accessories will be hard to get hold of

I've owned both a Vango & Filey 6 Air and would def go for the Vango. Although the Filey has a nice layout - the Vango is simpler and I did find myself fighting with doors and zips on the Filey.
