Hi. I'm looking for a 6 person tent for the family. There are so many out there I feel like I'm drowning in info. I'd like the option of buying a canopy / extension and it needs to be a tunnel tent. Any suggestions?

Is that a six person tent for six people?

What kind of packing space do you have available? Car boot? Trailer?

When do you hope to camp? Fair weather only or are you thinking of going at the end or beginning of the season when it's cooler.

And finally, rough budget?

I have a Bear Lake 6 (2013) which I absolutely adore.

Before the BL I had a Monty 6 (pre 2011 changes) which I liked but the BL is a far more solid tent. Not cheap but then I'm hoping to get at least 10 years out of mine so well worth the money.

My BL is for me and hubby though, so as Campernic asks, do you need your tent for 6 people?

Have a look at the Kampa Croyde 6 decent quality tent from a reputable manufacturer, steel poled for strength and has a built in open fronted canopy extension with the option of a vestibule to close it off. Have a look at the reviews in the tent review section
