Hi everyone, I have bought some water sealant stuff to put on our Outwell tent to hopefully fix a seam where water leaked through in very bad weather while we were away in august - thing is, the insructions on the bottle aren't very clear - can anyone help me with what I need to do please? It goes on the inside of the seam yes? Do I just rub it on? what do I use to put it on? Thanks for any help x

Yes, the seams are sealed on the inside of the tent.
I don't know about the Outwell sealer but most seam sealers come with either a separate brush, a brush that screws on once the cap has been removed, or the tube has a sponge in the top through which the sealer is squeezed. If it doesn't come with any of those then a small paintbrush or even a cloth over your finger will work the sealant into the seam.
The sealant is just like a clear silicon glue so spreads quite easily. Just rub it along the leaking seam making sure you cover it completely.
