You might find there's a pegging point on the tent that lines up with the hole in the second photo, it's there to let you peg down the tent fully, peg through it as normal then pull the drawstring tight around the pegging point, my concorde L extension has a couple of similar holes in the groundsheet

As Jason says you peg through then tighten the drawstring. The bungee points should be on the underside of the groundsheet and it allows you to peg the groundsheet down, or that's they way we have been doing it.

Have a look at the video for the Outwell Concorde XL side awning, at around 3.30 into the video they show exactly the same holes with draw strings being done up.

Yes, the first image shows the groundsheet upside down. The baffle hole is for a pegging point in the middle of the dividing wall.
