If you dont get any luck with Sandy Balls you can always try Holmsley
they are a forrestry commision site with loads of room and dont care how big the tent is, thought it was worth a mention.
Have a great holiday
We are also visiting Sandy Balls this season - our 5th visit. We have a Sunncamp Grange with sun canopy but have no problem with pitch size. We have EHU and have to pitch on gravel but does not cause us a problem. We have strong pegs but you can hire these. The cornfield is only open for 4 weeks during August but the pitches are also marked out but not numbered. Hope you have as much fun as us
We have stayed at Sandy Balls at least 8 times now and we have a big tent ours has a 9 metre footprint and sleeps 12! We have never had any problems fitting it onto any of their pitches although some are bigger than others. The receptionists will help you.
