Hi, has anybody used the awning from the Montana 6 on the Montana 6p? I've just bought the Montana 6p tent and want an awning but don't like 6p awning as it doesn't have curtains on the windows. I also like the way you lift the whole front up as a canopy on the older awning. The problem I can see is with the awning groundsheet but nothing else. Thanks

Hello,    I'm not in any way technical, but can't see why this can't be done.

We have a 6P and the front awning and agree there are some elements on the
6 awning that are much better.

The only potential problem I can think of is that I believe that at some point during production the 6 changed slightly in size so you may need to check on the production years and their dimensions to be sure.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't realise that Outwell had changed the size. I'll make sure I check that. Do you know of any other alternatives? Hopefully an Outwell. We would like an awning with curtains for privacy and that the front opened up to use as a canopy or could be rolled away to be like an extension. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
