I have been looking for a canopy / awning for my Vango icarus 500 to no avail !

In my search I have come across the CampFeuer® - XXL Tunnel Tent, the reviews aren't great but the tent looks ideal in proportions and flexibility.

 

Does anyone have any experience of this tent please.

The Amazon reviews actually tell their own story. The tent is ok in good weather but won't stand up to much bad weather. This will be the basic fault with any large tent that is cheap, poles & fabric will be thin & weak.

Please do not by a tent you can only find on internet selling sites, if you can't find it in a camping shop there's a reason...
You live in Essex so you have so many good real camping stores to visit. Allweathers at Summers Hill garden centre, Camping and General on Canvey Island, Camperite at Marks Tey plus you even have a Go Outdoors.
Why would you not go and visit these stores and talk to a real person and look at the tents in the flesh...

Mandy if you have trouble locating the Vango Isis/Icarus canopy go for the below it should fit pretty well...but I would double check the width of the icarus 500 as i have forgotten myself now.

You will find on ebay the Icarus 500 canopies are going for more than the tents 2nd hand £100 +.


For the sake of £90.00 extra the Kampa Wollacombe 6 is similar to what you are looking at + you can get the footprint and carpet included for £280.00 and should last a lot longer.
