Hi Folks

Bit of an unusual request.

I am looking to buy about 6 tents from between £20-25 each for cubs scouts to use when camping inside a scout hall. They should be between 2-4 person in size.

We already have about 4 tents but need to add a few more.

If anyone has any recommendations it would be great. They do not need to be waterproof but strong enough to withstand cubs putting up and taking down.

I suggest you subscribe to Aldi's and Lidl's mailing lists so you'll know when their tents (example) are coming in (should be within the next few weeks).

Not sure about the indoor camping though - a cub we know went to such an event and found it a bit disappointing, so our daughter (friend of his mother) consoled him with a proper outdoor (well, garden!) camp.

Don't forget you will need something with cross over poles so that it can stand by itslf unless you plan to nail the guys to the floor. Tunnel style tents won't stand up without guys.

We have a really cheap tesco dome tent, poles criss cross so it stands unaided and we can squeeze it in our living room for "indoor" camping.

Tesco sell a version of it every year and it is usually about £7 or £8

Thinking about it maybe I should get it out of the loft and play at camping
