Hi all,

We have an Outwell Nevada M 5 person tent, and the porch extension for it.

The extension is basically a 2 metre tunnel which is completely open. I want to be able to cover the opening, so it has some kind of door, and what is in the extension is protected.

Does anybody have any ideas on how I could do that, or know of existing solutions?

Many thanks
Chris.

You could sell the porch and buy the awning (not the the which makes no sense)which has a door. That is what I would do

I am sure someone will have an innovative idea

Sorry, I'm not sure I explained myself very well.

We want to keep the awning extension thing, we just want to put a covering/door over the front.

This is our tent :

This is the extension:

You can see that the extension is completely open, and we'd like to cover it, to make it more like the interior of a tent.

Looks like this is the thing:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXsQ611s6PA&t=70

Perfect. I assume it would fit our Nevada M tent (an older version, but looks the same as far as I can tell)?

Rather expensive though at £280.

Looks perfect! However, I can't find one for sale.

The only thing around now is the awning for the Nevada MP, and that is about £200 on Amazon.

The MP looks the same as the older M, but is it? Does anybody know?

The is an awning for the newer Nevada M (the Privelage I think it is called) but the awning is blue, and possibly of lesser quality.

All you'll need is the dimensions of both tents and if the height and width are the same then they will fit as long as your ok with different colours
Or it's a waiting game to see if one comes up on the used market

Sounds interesting, can you provide a link to an example?
I'm not even sure what to search for!

That might work - I think that particular one is too flat - the Outwell extension is more rounded, but its the right kind of idea.
I need to get the measurements for the exntension.
