Hi All,

Recently took delivery of my new 2015 tent and took some piccies in the garden - just thought you may like to see these if anyone is interested in purchasing a new tent.

I did not peg this out on the photos - it was just a quick test to check all was ok in the garden :-) So it may look a bit saggy :-)

Hi colley1275, did you pitch this yourself? I was looking at this one, but it blew the budget, perfect though and love the idea of the added vestibule area which seems to be a good price at the moment. Are you happy with the ease of the air pitch system?

Sad that all tents when they come out of a bag look like they could do with an iron.

Nice looking tent inflatables are very popular we have just bought one too.

Hi Marietot, I did this by myself...it's a piece of cake to erect. I didn't peg it put and still managed. ..the trick is to peg out all four corner and then inflate from the front and wall through to push up each beam. :-) I paid 545 for this tent and for an air beam I thought that was good considering the quality of the fabric etc :-) I'm hoping that it will last me a long time :-)

Yes I thought that it looked like it needed a good iron too lol !!

I've been to see a few tents today, love the Hayling, hope you get many years of fun from your tent, but for myself and my little one I feel it is excessive - just wondering who else I can rope in to our trips to justify the spend!

Great to know it is easy to set up, especially as I'm considering the Brean 4. I'm still researching, thanks for the feedback...

I put my new hayling air up today in the garden.

Really impressed with the quality

Marginally quicker than a framed tent to erect. Taking it down is really simple and quick and surprisingly it went in the bag no problem.

Issues will come if I have to take it down In the wet. My old tent was still a big beast but I just stuffed it into a big plastic container so it kept all the water off the car. The inflatable does need tlc when packing away.

The pump although suitable for the job could up being the weak link. I couldn't see it lasting for years and years. It doesn't fit in the bag, and I could imagine rocking up on a campsite and realising it had been left at home

Well BillDouglas I can tell you to an extent how that feels I did arrive on site with my pump still in the shed at home.
Very frustrating.

However it wasn't as serious as it could have been because I still had the caravan for accomadation whereas with a tent you would be snookered. My forgotten pump was for my KAMPA Awning.I did have to get another pump though the day after because I still had loads of gear in the caravan and car.

Im actually thinking very seriously of getting a new inflatable tent and the demonstration that started this thread has convinced me that perhaps I could manage to erect one on my own.
I have to admit that the tourer isn't getting the use now and due to circumstances will probably get even less from now on.
So in order to get an occasional trip away for a few day fishing I'm thinking of going back to camping. (Probably only spring through to autumn though)
People usually go the other way from tent to caravans which we did a number of years ago. So I'm thinking im going full circle.

I also think that Kampa tent looks great I've just got to find a dealer who has a selection on display.
