Awesome marietot, glad you went for it then, I think that price is one of the best deals I have seen this year.

Its not there any more so I guess it was either the last one or they realised there mistake.

It would be good to see some pictures of the trial pitch, good luck.

Trial pitch carried out today. I set the stopwatch on my phone and it took 12 minutes to pitch without putting the guy lines out! I had watched a few different airbeam videos, pitched the corners out, then began to use the vango supplied pump. Slightly annoying the pump kept detaching itself nearing 5-6psi, but it held the air so not really a problem. I am absolutely delighted overall and would like to thank you especially jonbyrne for spotting the bargain!

I spent quite a while opening and closing the curtains, looking at all the storage pockets etc, sad I know, who knew a tent could be so exciting! I am a total convert to camping.

I've purchased the dedicated footprint and would have liked the actual Vango carpet, but seems as though they are either very rare or not stocked any longer so I have bought a Gelert Meridian 10 carpet (slight clash of colour!).

When it came to deflate, it went down in a matter of minutes and into the bag with ease. For a total novice (first time I have ever pitched a tent) this was so easy and believe the 2015 Vango versions are even easier with external valves and smart air system.

It is slightly too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car (with a little rain it will add extra weight too), but can easily pull it with the great Vango wheeled bag.

Can't wait to go away now with our new purchase...

Just got back from our holiday and came straight on here to find out how you got on with the trial pitch :-)

Glad it went well, and that the putting away is just as easy. You really did get a bargain it seems.

Yes we have about 5 weekends planned throughout 2015 in the Lakes mainly. The first is over May Bank holiday. Nothing longer than 3 days so far.

Now I need to learn how to stop buying camping things, it is addictive!!!
