We are in the market for a new tent and have been looking at a few inflatables recently. We are looking for a large family tent (6 man) in the £1000 region.
I have had a look at Winfields and they had a few Vangos, a Kampa and the Outdoor Revolution.
I've never heard of the last one, but it did look a decent tent and layout (the 6.0 Ozone).
We have also spotted the Outwell Corvette XL, but cant find anywhere that has one to look at.
Any suggestions from the group? Would ideally like to see one set up before we buy within driving distance of Manchester.

Look at the denier of the fabrics also as some have better (higher deniers) than others, also the Outdoor Rev has a UV coating which will make the fabric last a long time, they have been around for years when it comes to caravan awnings.

We're in the same boat, we have had a vango eclipse 600 for past 2 years and have had nothing but problems with it. Winfields have said we can replace it with another, but what to choose ??
The manager was recommending the Outdoor revolution Ozone 6.0 XT. A make I have never heard of before either. The tent certainly looks to have better quality than the vango we had. The one review I can find says the doors are not fully zipped and there are drafts but not sure how bad the drafts are, a bit of additional ventilation is always welcome but the wife and kids will complain if it's a strong draft !.
We have now been to Winfield's and Go Outdoors in Blackburn and Manchester. Winfield's have a decent selection, but no one has the Outwell we want to see.

It's a struggle now, so it seems, here in the northwest to see a decent tent display, especially of the higher end of the ranges. Every year it seems another dealer goes under.
I don't know of anywhere between Winfields nr Chester, and Outdoor Action at Blackburn? There's a lot of population in that area. Hard to imagine we can't support a few more dealers, but it seems that that's the case.
Looking at the manufacturers' websites for dealers doesn't throw anything useful up.
NEC show was only option really for us, failing that we'd have had to drive to Hertfordshire, I think.
Visit a few campsites this weekend, with the amount of inflatables recently purchased there's likely to be quite a few people trying them out for the first time. Most campers I've come across would be more than happy to show off their new tent to you.
We went to Outdoor Action in Blackburn who had the Vango airbeam Taiga, not sure which model, looked fabulous. Also been to Winfields and Go Outdoors. I never knew buying a tent was so time consuming (and costly!) as a camping newbie. Sorry I didn't note what other models were there so may be worth a phone call as we were only looking at 4/5 man inflatable tents. It is ~2mins drive from Go Outdoors in Blackburn.

We've recently purchased the Kampa Croyde 6 classic air. Which we paid just over £1000 for.
We went up to the Caravan and Camping show in Birmingham and it seemed the best for our budget and use. We used it for the first time this weekend and weren't disappointed at all! The only downside is the weight of the tent to carry but then it's Polycotton so to be expected.
Our friends we camped with have purchased the Outdoor Revolution Ozone 6.0 xt(? The larger model) which is also a great tent although they were slightly disappointed that the groundsheet didn't fit the full length of the awning part of the tent. I don't think you could go wrog with either although Polycotton for me was the deciding factor.
