Hi all,

New to this so hello.

I've just bought a Vango Nadina 600 for my young family. This forum proved very useful in choosing a tent.

I now have a slightly bigger problem - pitching it. We tried this afternoon and failed miserably. The instructions aren't great!

Does anyone have a link to a video which shows us what to do? I can't find one myself.

Or does anyone have any tips? We couldn't get the poles to stand up on their own - they fell forwards or back as we were erecting the next set of poles.

If you peg out the four corners then insert the middle pole the pole should stand up
If you put into you tube
Cross camping Method pitching video this should help
It's not the tent you have but this method works with most poled tents
Or you tube Montana 6 pitching video

Just had a nosy at your tent it's similar to the vango Maritsa range of tents so YouTube vango Maritsa 600 pitching vids
If you still have trouble I'll try and help more when I've more time
We used to have an Outwell vermont xlp and used the cross camping method

We had a Vango Maritsa 500 and like you, found pitching it for the first time a nightmare! Once we watched the video above and used that method, it was so much easier! Hope it goes better tomorrow!

There is a video on line on the vango site we had a go with the go outdoors staff they put one up for us me and the gf found it very easy but we have both camped for years....

I need to get some protection on the poles as they seem prone to surface rust

Going to try some bilt hamber autobalm it gets rave reviews in the classic car mags on bare metal and chrome
