I cant see you having any problems with the space, the bed pod is the size of a double air bed and it takes up a quarter of the area, so the remaining area is approx. the size of three double airbeds in an L shape.

We finally got to go away in our Illusion on our first ever camping trip this weekend. We had a fantastic time which was certainly helped by the tent itself; it was so easy to put up and easily withstood the wind and rain that was thrown at us on Friday night. I think twouptwodown is quite right about the sun canopy being useful to keep the rain from getting in at the front. We didn't take ours and did get a bit of rainwater on the ground sheet in the porch.
We didn't use the fourth bed pod, but rather than completely removing it, we just unclipped it at the top & front and rolled it up to the side.
I happened to stumble on this pitching and packing video for the Illusion on YouTube just before we left, which we tried and worked really well!
Looking forward to our next trip in a couple of weeks!

Yes, they are Dreamcatchers (10cm). We all thought they were brilliant and gave a good night's sleep! You can fit two of them in each sleeping pod if you needed to.

We have been and got two dreamcatchers, used them and the tent for the first time last bh weekend. Really happy with both, tent easy to put up and very spacious (good job with the weather we had!) dreamcatchers were really comfy and warm just on the floor SO much better than air beds. Will be getting two more for the kids before next trip :)
