The tent I've had for 16 yrs has finally died. It was a tall tent for 4-6 with front living space and inner sleeping pod behind. The joy was it had a front and rear door skin hot weather I could get a through breeas sleeping in the inner between them.
Now I'm trying to replace it but can't find anything similar. It was a Lichfield do they still exist?
Help please hive mind!

Guessing by the age and height it's a frame tent ?

or was it a tunnel/dome tent? Lichfield seem to have a few with doors on both sides.

Frame tent yes. For some reason when I try to read Lichfield reviews on here I just get blank pages.

A vis a vis style dome style tent often has a rear and front door. Tunnel tents will have a front and a side door, but I know from experience that it doesn't pull away overly hot air like yours did.

Yes very like that FOAM. Thanks scampering I will loo, at domes. Should add I'm not tied to the shape of my previous tent just loved the ability to create a breeze through.

Not especially. We camp for min of a month each summer and at easter/autumn. I'm interested in getting the right tent. BUT having said that I'm not talking silly money like £350+

If you don't mind buying used (you get a lot for your money) you can get a decent Cabanon frame tent like the one I pictured for about £200~

Also found THIS on EBay, may be worth keeping an eye on.

All this talk about frame tents is making me want to buy one. :)
