Really like the look of this tent, has anyone on here either bought one or has seen one erected,I am awful for falling in love with a pic and when it arrives it is not suitable,I have looked up camp shows but no dates available yet...so need to know if the stated weight,12kg,is true and how useful the 80cm built in canopy would be for cooking under in rain, thanks in advance if anyone can help, evo :)

It's almost identical in dimensions to the Vango Capri 500 - guess that's the air version of the same tent. (the Capri 400 is the same length but smaller width). Jacksons of old arley have got a Capri pitched so worth a trip to look at that maybe if you aren't too far - depends which bit of the East mids you are! (can't remember if it is the 400 or 500 - I'm trying to resist going for a second look as I'm very tempted!)
The Capri is 16kg, so the Dunkeld will be less as apart from the air they are a similar spec.
I think you would struggle to cook in the rain under the canopy but perhaps you could add a simple tarp for extra shelter to the front?
