Hi,
I am in need of your help with tents!
I need an 8 berth tent which the ground sheet is attached to her tent.
If its a long dome one with 4 each side I need there to be 3 pods (1x4,1x2,1x2)
Id like to have an awning on it as well.
I did buy one second hand which didn't really meet any of these needs so is now going back.
Thanks
Leah

The vango Seaton 800 is good but it only has two pods either side. Friends of mine place a two man pop up in the living area and simply fold it away in the morning. Also means its less time consuming than a three pod tent

Theres my husband, me and our 2 children - we'd like to share a sleep area. Then my brother who is 15 and my MIL who both need their own sleep space. My MIL wont come all the time, thats why I'd like the option of having 2 smaller pods so I can leave one down when its not needed. We borrowed a tent last year which we were able to do this with (No idea of the name and cant find out)
£400 is the absolute maximum.

Thanks Darren but I'd really like the separate pods.

This is pretty popular and seems to get good reviews. There is also a 10 man version. £300 new from Go Outdoors, can often find used for much less.

Has 2 large pods that can be split like you need to make 3 or 4.

No Awning but you could just use a tarp or shelter out front.

What about an olpro cocoon 8?

olpro

Trouble is that it is 2 pods at one end and one at the other.

Stuff that is like the Hartford ( 3 pods off the main room) is by skandika or 10T these days and may not be what you are looking for.

Thanks for all your help, we ended up buying this today :

http://www.cnfoutdoors.co.uk/royal-brisbane-8-tunnel-tent

From our local camping shop with the extension, carpet and footprint. Hoping it will serve us well for the foreseeable!

This doesn't have 3 separate pods but 2 large ones at each end. We compromised on this now due to having the extra space from the extension. :)

I have a Royal Pescara. You have a good tent there.
We were looking at getting a Brisbane but an unused pescara came up cheaper from the local shop.
We prefer having a built in porch rather than putting an extension on.
I think the Brisbane is an updated version of the Royal Atlanta.

Royal was a brand owned by Unipart Leaisure a few years ago. They closed down the business and sold the Brand to new owners in 2012/3. The new owners have resurrected the brand with the Royal Tents and a full range of camping accessories that can be found on our site http://www.cnfoutdoors.co.uk/royal-leisure
The Brisbane 4 and 8 are really becoming popular and are great quality tents just like the original Royal range.

Did you see it pitched?

Never heard of CNF Outdoors, they seem to be online only and operating from a residential address in Nottingham?

(I notice they've posted later on in this thread. Coincidence? )
