Do want standing height or just sitting height , is it for car camping... (Driving to campsites) or backpacking .

its for my son...he's moving out! only of the main tent - he has a camping bed tho rather than airbed as has a bad back so trying to find a little tent but one that he can sit up in when sitting on his bed...probs asking too much - there are a couple of ridge tents but with the pole at the entrance which if you knock over - or kick in sleep the tent will just fall down. I've searched websites but with nay joy...

Have you looked at the Vango Ark ?

I have the 4 person ( it's more like a 2 person ! ) and it's great ; easy to pitch , packs down small

A Vango Halo has good headroom. Look up videos on Youtube. Personally I would go for the three man rather than the two, but that might be pushing the 'pup tent' concept.

Maybe one of the decathlon pop up tents would work well ... Thinking maybe the smaller day room one

Is it a low camp bed? I have the vango force 10 mk 4 which is a three man but the poles are A frame type so no problem with the pole in the middle, good hight I use a low camp bed and its fine to sit up, not sure if it would be classed as a pup tent though.
