hello, new to the site.

Im gonna back into camping, I used to go camping a few years back with the family we had a wynnister kestrel 6 a brilliant tent which was huge and stood up to everything thrown at it. Me my wife and 3 kids used to go in it. But now my 2 eldest are grown up there will only be me my wife and youngest who is 8 years old.

Im after a smaller lighter tent, the kestrel 6 was big when packed ,weighed 26kg and it took half my boot up. I know for £150 i wont get a quality tent but Im just after something that wont fold up in the wind or leak and have a fully sewn in groundsheet.

we will only use it in the height of summer for 2 to 3 nights at a time. I still have the kestrel 6 but dont fancy lugging it about just for 3 of us.

has anyone got any recommendations, id be gratefull for any advice.
