I'm looking for some advice please. Last time I went camping (in the 1990's...) we used to use mosquito coils at the entrance to the tent to ward off the little flying blighters.
My wife is a magnet for these creatures, but I can't seem to find any or any alternatives.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for products to repel mosquitoes / insects from the tent?
Thanks!

Get a tent with a door which has a mesh panel for ventilation, otherwise keep the door closed.
I know it can be a pain when's it's hot but they are relentless.
You can still get them. Not sure they are as good as they used to be though. Last ones I had just kept breaking when trying to put them on the stand! Link
We use the Coils when we are camping in the South of France during July, the Coils you buy in UK are rubbish compared to the brand we buy in France, which are an orange colour.
We use 5 of the Gelert round tins, that are specifically made for the Coils, and they do seem to keep the blighters at bay.

Thanks for your replies. I'll do some more research for future trips but for this one will try and get some coils - if anything it might put her mind at ease!
