Hey all,

Undecided on a couple of family tents, so looking for some feedback on them.... There's only so many Internet reviews I can read!

Vango Anteus 600
Vango Icarus 500XL
Urban Escape Atago 5
Coleman Palm Coast 6

It's for 4 munchkins and myself with scope for 2 other bodies in the future.....

How much are you looking to spend?

Don't know much about the Icarus 500XL or the Coleman Palm Coast 6, but the Vango Anteus 600 (renamed for Go Outdoors) is the same as the Vango Avington 600 which looks a good tent when I've seen it on display.

The Urban Espace Atago 5 is a lesser known brand but gets good reviews on the Halfords website and also on here, it also has a 2 year manufacturers warranty which a lot of tents do not have including some of the top brands! It looks a good buy when it is on offer for ~ £150 but I'm not sure it would be big enough for 4-6 people even if half of those are children.

I have a Vango Samara 600 which is available online for a similar price to the Anteus 600 and I'm happy with the quality, look and size for the price. There are also some lesser known Vango models available online for the same price as the Anteus 600 such as the Vango Inca 500/Inca 600 which are a good size, price and have a high 6000mm HH (waterproof rating).
